What is microblading?
Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery or microstroking, is a form of natural-looking, semi-permanent tattoo artistry that is perfect for reconstructing, defining, extending, or filling-in over plucked or sparse eyebrows. Microblading is a form of permanent makeup since pigment is implanted under the dermis (the inner layer of the skin). However, the pigment used in microblading is not implanted as deep as for a regular tattoo or cosmetic tattoo. Furthermore, the needles used in microblading are finer in diameter than traditional cosmetic tattoo needles.
What can I expect during my microblading appointment?
The microblading treatment begins with a consultation between the Artist and the client. During the consultation, the Artist and the client will discuss the desired appearance of the eyebrows, the color of pigment to be used, and the overall procedure. In a follow-up appointment either immediately following the consultation or at a later date, the Artist will draw in the desired shape of the brow with removable pencil and then will apply a topical anesthetic to temporarily numb the skin. The pigment will then be applied to the brow area. At least one or more follow up appointments are required in order to evaluate the overall appearance of the brows and the color of the pigment. Results vary depending on skin type and using proper healing instructions.
- Touch-ups are to be done 6-8 weeks after initial procedure. If you miss your touch-up appointment you will be charged a “color boost” fee as your touchup appointment is crucial in the overall outcome of your finished brow look.
Policies
A $50 deposit is required to book your service which will be credited towards the total balance on the day of your appointment.
If you do not confirm your appointment 24 hours before after multiple notifications have been sent your appointment will be canceled.
I understand things come up. if you need to reschedule please do so at least 3 days prior to
appointment. Please note if you Reschedule without three days notice your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to reschedule.
No shows will automatically forfeit their deposit and not be allowed to reschedule.
What is Powder / Ombre Brows?
Ombre is a semi-permanent powdered brows technique for clients who prefer fuller result than hairstrokes but still very soft. ... The tails of the brow are darker and fade into a light beginning to the brow, giving a perfect Ombre makeup affect. The effects will be waterproof, smudge-proof and completely natural. Ombre / powder brows can last anywhere from two to five years. The retention will depend on a number of factors, such as lifestyle, skin type, sun exposure, health condition, etc.
